Red heart, blue blood;
black hair, purple eyes,
brown skin with a tropical
celestial complexion,
May make your eyes think,
that ~ she is perfect!

First name: Valery
she comes from
the planet Bijou.

Shouldn't be believed.
You will be deceived,
if you are, of this, convinced,
that she is perfect.

In a tree surrounded by
greenery, shadowed by
darkness, in a world so
beautiful, it looked mythical,
Inky and Valery sat
with their one week old baby.

all encompassing world
of extinction.

Sights hidden under the bushes.
Sounds scrambled through trees.
Sounds of humans chattering about
what business they will increase.

Valery worries, her eyes become
puffy behind her tears.
Inky feels as he fears, the danger
that is near. Their hearts are
beating like a drum roll in their
chest, and their lungs are panting,
the suspense is exhausting them.

The first thing, first.
Second thing ~ next.
Two eyes were pointed at them.
Then, an unidentified weapon.
Instinct gripped them, then,
the flight or fight response held
their minds in the balance.

Inky screamed to the top of his
lungs, than, through himself
out of the tree like a blanket.
Engulfing him, suffocating him
in his big arms, as Valery took
Yen and started fleeing,
through one tree after another.

As Inky dropped the mans weight
upon the forest, he saw other eyes
looking back at him.

Before counting to three,
he jumped back into the tree
and proceeded to flee after
Yen and Valery, knowing in
his mind that he would have
to find yet another planet to
reside.

Red hearts, blue blood,
in those titled ethereal.

connotation, idealism.
