Candy Delights

Between the sun and the rainbow,
skittles fell real slow,
as we stood under puffy marshmallows.

You looked like candy
and
you acted so candid.

A french woman in Italy, looking so appealing.

whenever the sunset the scenes were lovely,
But... it felt like our world ran on a battery.

With only so many hours until our body shuts down.
and about six more til the sun comes back around.

We would sleep for five, and then...
we would dream, just to feel alive,
until the sun rises and we're revived.

I looked into your eyes as soon as ours opened,
and then I said
*Don't be surprised*

Your emotions are like seasons that will never end,
and your body is like a tree
that changes in each of your seasons
as time itself flows through your cells like blood.

Every breath that you give me makes me feel
a warm fuzzy feeling of love.

Between you and God,
between him and us,
in between God and me,
in between the three of us... are babies!

half you, half me,
Like Bamm Bamm and Pebbles,
but too perfect to be

I am so happy,
there must be
a cartoon character
neath
my
skin,
to be living in the real world
and to even enjoy it.
